Pythagoras' Theorem: Find a Missing Side
Use a² + b² = c² to find either the hypotenuse from two legs or a missing leg from the hypotenuse and one leg.
Let's start
What are we learning?
Pythagoras' theorem works only in right-angled triangles. It connects the two shorter sides, called legs, with the longest side, called the hypotenuse: a² + b² = c².
