Graph Inequalities on a Number Line

Describe a number-line graph for one-variable inequalities by choosing the correct open or closed circle and shading left or right.

Let's start

What are we learning?

A one-variable inequality such as x < -12 describes many possible x-values. A number-line graph shows those values using two decisions: what kind of circle goes on the boundary number, and which direction is shaded.
