Constant Rate of Change from Tables

Calculate a constant rate of change from a table by comparing how much y changes for each change in x, including negative rates.

Let's start

What are we learning?

A constant rate of change tells you how much y changes each time x increases by the same amount. In these tables, x goes 1, 2, 3, 4, so each step in x is +1. That makes the rate easy to see from one row to the next.
